Lowering springs: lower your car X amount of inches.
Coilovers: adjustable height (Rise & lower to your liking).

The real question is: What's your budget or how much are you willing to spend?

Coilovers are the best way to go since they offer full adjustability, but are not always the most wallet friendly for a lot of people. Lowering springs can be used, but be prepared to get different shocks too as they will blow out soon after because when lowered, they are always compressed and are not designed to be ran n a compressed state. Lowering 1-1.5" you should be ok as far as camber correction, but anything more and you will definately need a camber correction kit to keep from wearing the tires out prematurely. in any case, you should also get it re-aligned after any changes to the suspension geometry (ride height, camber,caster,toe.etc).

To be honest its going to be my summer project and budget is like 800 to 1200 maybe more but i think coilovers would be best for me that way if i dont like the heigth i can change it any reccomendations?

If you're going coil overs then you should go with koni yellows with ground control coil overs. Best bang for your buck.

You can pickup a nice set of Megan coil overs which are great. They have a lot of adjustability for dampness and Lucan adjust the ride height to right where you want it.

If you are still running OEM suspension bushings when you change ride height, make sure that you loosen all the suspension bolts then retightening them at the new ride height. This will release the bind on the bushings and reset to neutral position at your new static ride height. This is not required for poly bushings made by Prothane or Energy Suspension. If you neglect this step, OEM bushings will tear and separate in no time.
