low speed hearing metal spinning noise from back wheel?

So when I'm cruising going kinda slow 20mphish I can hear kind of a spinning light metally noise what would be the cause of this? I have stock rims too if anyone is wondering.

There is a guard behing the rotor, it is probably bent and rubbing the back side of it. Its a thin metal disc. Check that first.

I dont have a pic but you seriously cant miss it. Its the round shaped guard directly behind the rotor. Its made of really thin metal.

Could be a few things.

The brake dust shield was already mentioned. You can't miss it it is right next to the rotor on the car side (as opposed to the wheel side). Just bend that bad boy back into place with your hand. Had to do that after changing brakes and wheels. Guess I bent it during the process. I had to bend the lower right portion away from the rotor.

I had a sound like I was dragging chains that happened to be a bolt on the knuckle worked its way loose and was rattling around. Wouldn't hurt to check the bolts, boots, and cv joints while your under there.

Could also be your wheel bearings. Let's hope not

Mine is making that sound too. It sounds like its coming from the brakes. I checked the wheel bearings by lifting the car up and moving the tire and no play so Im assuming bearings good. I didnt however, check behind the rotor. Ill have to do that next time.
My brakes already have a bad booster.

Are the pads aligned with the caliper piston correctly? There is a nipple on the piston that must align with the pad. My GST made the same noise, it was because the pad was uneven and wearing at an angle because the "smart guy" who had it before me obviously didn't know what he was doing?
