Low profile jack, anyone use it?

Looks good. Craftsman style of low profile not too far off in price and works beatifuly.

I would find out how high it lifts. I have a low profile but it only lifts around 18" which makes it very difficult to work with sometimes. My regular jack lifts about 23" and I love working with it much more because I dont always have to find the perfect jacking spot to get the height I need.

I have been looking for a new jack for a while because the one I have was my dad's when he was younger. It was barely low enough to clear my front bumper but couldn't reach very far back. To get the car on jack stands in the front it took a half hour, a few blocks of wood, and some homemade wood ramps. Those days are now gone!

I just bought a new Omega 2 ton low profile jack from eBay. I got a great deal on it. I was specifically looking for one made for lowered cars and I don't think I could have picked a better one. Most of the low profile jacks out there either are only low profile for the first foot or so or just don't have the max height that I was looking for. But this one has it all. The jack is 3.75" or less for over 2'. I can now reach extremely far underneath the front of the car and easily get it high enough to get jack stands under it.

It was $150.

It was local pickup only, but luckily I was on my way to Maine for a ski trip and was passing right through the town.

Ya, I tried it out. And did exactly as the picture above shows

It works great and doesn't take long at all (maybe 6 pumps or so) to get the car way in the air.

I have the jack just like the old one. It's a red 2 ton jack and can barely fit unde the DSM and it takes like 10 pumps to get it up. It beats the hell out of using the scissor jack though.
