Low compression

I dont know if I maybe didn't test it 100% correctly. But i just did a compression test and I showing about 100 on each and cyl 1 is 115. And cyl 4s plug was actually wet. It's a fresh rebuild, only 700 miles on it so far.

Any suggestions?

Was the engine up to temp, done at WOT, about 10 cranks per cylinder, and a fully charged battery?

Oooo. It was completely cold, probably not 10 cranks. And the battery idk. The spark plug wire started sparking like crazy and I got scared so I didnt run it long, It was my first time running the car with one disconnected like that so I didnt know what would happen so I was worried I would brake something. I'll try and build some confidence and do it correctly again

+1 do what paul mentioned it is the correct way. vfaq is a very good site.
