I say we just watch the storm and if we have to reschedule then so be it. Its supposed to be hitting early in the week, so that will give us time to decide.

The storm was suppose to hit early monday moning, but now it looks to be hitting monday evening. If anyone lives in the New Orleans are i hope you evac fast enough. I know im getting out.

I don't wish it to hit at all but, if it does I hope it's to the east of us. Whoever is on the east is gonna get the worst of it. Hopefully NO doesn't flood like last fu*cking time. I'll be wishing the best for all of us.

I hear you there. the general concencus Im getting form NOstreetracing.org is that if another Katrina happens, nobody is coming back.

With this hurricane I will more then likely be working next weekend. They got us on standby for now. Doubt I will make down for the meet. :notgood:

Ok we are moving this to Lafayette, 5pm. Baton Rouge got hit hard. We will check on Midnight Madness but chances are its canceled.

Well... now that it's over... how did everyone make out? My property, in st. martin parish, got alot of water. house is fine but water and branches everywhere. we really didn't get anything here in lafayette. i stayed in youngsville, drank and even brought out the slip n slide mid hurricane. tells you how bad it was!! Anyways, if anybody needs a hand with something let me know... i think work's about go ape$h1t considering i work offshore... but don't mind helpin out in my free time... at least while i have it.

Shreveport didn't hardly get get hit. Most of the rain stayed east a few cities. I hope all is well down south for you all.

I'm not going to be able to make it this weekend. They closed down our military base up here for a couple days expecting a really bad storm. Now we got to pull a weekend duty :notgood:

Gheyness...

i forgot this is the same weekend as LakeFrontTour, i had a room booked and everything for this show but idk what i'm going to do yet now, lost a tree here, nothing major in laffy

Hmmm...I heard Lafayette got it bad. Well, I guess goes to show you about the news. New Orleans wasn't even bad so that's good that it didn't turn out like Katrina. Baton Rouge is another story however. It's crazy that some of them got their power back in like a day and very, very few didn't lose their power. What was it, like 875,000 customers without power the first few days??? That is a definite OMGWTF. Almost a million customers without electricity. Now there's another one on the way..

:dsm:

Is there still a lakefront tour?

Lafayette dosent seem to be bad off. ALmost all power restored. And not to much destruction from what Ive seen.

yeah LakeFront is still on but most of the hotels cancelled everybody's rooms LOL, lafayette got the west side of the storm which wasn't to bad, houma, morgan city, br got the eastern side and got screwed,

Yeah I left Metairie and headed to BR. Well that turned out real bad for us. We lost power as the storm hit the city. After two nights of being hot and not sleeping good, I got up yesterday morn and hauled ass back to Metairie. When I got to my apt, it didn't even look like i had lost power. I sure am glad to be back in the a/c. ROFL

well if its in lafayette i dont think i am gonna make it sorry guys but if you reshedule it to somewhere else that would be awesome

Yea. Give it a month or so to let BRLA get back to some what normal, and the storms to calm down. We will re do it in BRLA.

theres a meet at bww in lafayette every sat night LOL, I'll be out tomorrow night
