Hey there sorry its so long but im stumped .About a couple weeks ago my 2g gsx started making clicking noises in the motor. After a day are too I took it to a friend who know a little about cars but apparently not enough him and his father came to the conclusion that the car had cranked walked which was not the case. I got ahold of a friend and ever since him and I been working on. The things we did were drop the oil pan and checked the crank to see if that was the case which it was not. After reassemble of he oil pan and a new 5 quarts of oil we tryed starting it up for another friend so he could hear what the clicking noise was but now the car will not start it turns over and wants to start but does not start after awhile of trying to start it we gave up for the night and the next day my friends grandfather said to Check the timing so first thing I did was checked to see if the cam hears lined up correctly and the did and we went to check the bottom wnd and noticed my crank pulley had dug its self into the timing belt plastics. From there we pulled the pulley of and the pulley was in two pieces fr there we pulled all the accessiorie belt off and pulleys and checked the timing from down below and ever thing still lines up correctly. I'm getting spark I know I'm getting fuel but the car will not turn over any ideas on why this could Be?

We checked the crank play and found that it had .055 play.. the car would crank and you could smell fuel. It would try to run but would not start up. :banghead: :idontknow: :banghead:

If what you state is the full story then you messed up the crank sensor located behind the timing belt crank gear, neath' the flat disk which has your timing mark, it rotates thru the sensor and if that plate is bent at all it will wipe the sensor leaving you with a cranking no start. T-belt and balance belt must come off the access this sesnor, make SURE that your crank sensor plate is perfectly straight or this will happen instantly again.
