I have a 98 gsx with a 7 bolt evo motor. The mods are fpr, 780's, 255, 50 trim, intercooler and dsmlink. My problem occured yesterday when i got on the highway coming back from a friends house. Everything was working great until suddenly i wanted to give it a little gas to get infront of another car and it would not go, it seemed like it just suddenly lost all power. Now it will not start. I checked fuel and spark and its all there. The timing is correct as well. Im stuck with no other ideas of what could have possibly went wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Check the intercooler piping. A piece may have come apart, this happened to me before.

Also, what do you mean by 7 bolt evo motor?

Can you connect to the ecu?It will crank but no start?

Yes i can connect to the ecu. I also pulled the feed line coming from the fuel filter to the fuel rail and cranked the motor a few times and there was a steady stream of fuel coming in. So im not sure what else it can be??

I mean Evo III motor.

Well i just went out to the car and i primed the fuel pump through dsmlink and i checked the fpr gauge and it was at zero. So i swapped it out for a stock fpr and still no start. So i assume its not the gauge but the actual fuel pressure. I pulled the feed line that goes to the fuel rail and cranked the car to double check if fuel is flowing and indeed it is. I am stumped.... any ideas??

is the car crankin and not starting? or exactly whats going on? did you check the fuses?

also another thing since you checked that you are getting fuel, check to make sure your getting spark in every cylender!

The "is it cranking" question +1. It could be a timing belt/pulley. All routine maintenance up to date?

The car is cranking but no start. I checked spark on all the plugs, fuses and maintenance has been kept up. I am assuming is has something to do with the fuel pressure because my fpr guage reads zero the whole time even when i prime the fuel system. Could it be the 255 i just put it in about 2 weeks ago maybe something could be leaking?

check all the wiring from the fuel pump, make sure you have a good ground so your gettin full potential from it,you said when you pulled the fuel rail you were getting a good stream right? well just cause your gauge is broken dont mean your not gettin pressue, especially when you said you put the stock one back on and it did the same thing

Need to verify air, fuel, spark, compression, and ECU. It sounds like you are getting fuel, verify plugs smell gassy. You can have someone check for spark as you crank. If its cranking/timing good, you have compression. That leaves MAF and ECU to focus on.
