Power Steering, Lost all fluid, no workey...

ok, so i was on my way home from the DSM Shootout and the tube broke that connects to the power steering reservoir. Consequently I lost all my fluid (all over my windshield) and had to drive all the way home. Well i got a new reservoir and filled it all up and tried to bleed it but i gets nothing.

Could running the pump dry F-up the pump? Also is there anything else i may have F-ed up?

Yeah, if you ran the pump dry and drove it all the way home like that it's done for. Better find a new pump.

Yes, find yourself a pump, that one's done for. Cou could get one for a reasnonable price in the classified ads on here. It would probably come with the hose you blew too.

You think a rebuild kit will work? I just rebuilt this one year ago and it has a lifetime warrantee.

Im not sure if they cover it being ran withoug fluid, you can check with them though.

Well got the pump rebuild kit in, and it work great. Yea! Cant wait to see what breaks next...
