Loss of clutch pressure?

Today, after driving on the freeway for about 1/2 hr, as soon as I pulled off and started downshifting, my clutch pedal lost all presure. However, I was able to hook my foot under it, pull it back up and shift fine with it as long as it wasn't in 1st gear? Any thoughts or experiences with this problem?

My guess is an air bubble in my lines?

The best thing I would do is to start with bleeding the clutch. Now, I had this problem with my old 95 ford Escort and after I had bled the clutch it operated fine afterwards. Then a few days later my slave cylinder went... So to save money, start with the free stuff
P.S. Also check the pedal it's self for any loose or broken parts. Just in case. Hope this helped in some way.

Pull the dust boot back on the slave cylinder and see if any fluid comes out. If so the slave cylinder is leaking, needs replaced. Check under the dash at the clutch master cylinder area, check for any leakage. If both are dry, definitely bleed the system and make sure the clutch is adjusted properly. Also an FYI, if your bottom end is developing crank walk It can cause intermittent clutch problems.

I didnt want to have to scare him like that, with crankwalk. Yes I just recently encountered it (month ago) I'll post a video of what my crankwalk looked like. And my issue was clutch was not wanting to grab. Lots of shaking.
