What's your assessment of this stuff? Doesnt look normal. My real question is how long has this motor been down? This looks odd for a recently running engine.

Maybe the previous owner bent the valves and that impact and valves smashed and destroyed carbon buildup? How do the valves look like?
It bent 8 valves. I still haven't cleaned up the marks. Head is back from machine shop.

My only clue is the battery is dated Feb of this year.
 
Valve stem seals or bad turbo seals causing oil consumption plus blowby being cycled back into the intake, but the carbon was knocked loose from something, maybe a coolant leak or valve impact.
