Looking for suggestions on what external wastegate/manifold i should run w my turbo?

Whatup everyone it looks like sum1 is picking up my Talon race project and im gonna be able to snag this super clean lovely vr4 w built motor. I was planning on adding my turbo which is a holeset h1c i believe. With this turbo i need an external wastegate as well as a manifold that mounts that way.

This is all still pretty new to me and appreciate any help i could get. If sum1 can give me some good brands to check out for both and or where to purchase new as well as used(here?)

This is going on '92 vr4 w 4g63t .20 over w all forged internals. Are the manifolds especially specific to a vr4, meaning a manifold from a Laser wont work on a vr4 or will it? Sorry if sum of these questions are dumb and really basic but it helps and im learning. I appreciate all your guys help in advance! later

What turbine housing do you plan to run with the h1c? That will play a big part into which manifold and wastegate setup you need.

Like John said, the turbine housing is a major factor in what wastegate setups you can use.

You can only run a wastegate off the O2 with the bolt-on housing. It has a wastegate port just like an MHI turbo, but no actual internal wastegate. So you use a stock style O2 housing, just with an external wastegate on it.

If you run a T3 housing you can't use a DSM O2 housing configuration. Or if you weld the wastegate port shut on the bolt-on housing. So you have to run a wastegate off the manifold.

T3 housing:

The benefit to an O2 housing wastegate is ease of use and the ability to recirculate it. The benefit to a manifold wastegate is lower price and somewhat higher flow for better boost control. But either one would work, you just need the right wastegate for your housing.

I ran a H1c with a Turbonetics Delta gate on my LS/Vtec Integra and it was great. Didn't spool until 3500, but MAN was it efficient. Also look up the synaps wastegate... I haven't had one, but their advertisements look quite impressive.
