I want a TSi or turbo Eclipse pretty bad and I came across this nice white 93 Talon AWD. The body and interior is in decent shape but the problem is apparently the headgasket blew and the owner didn't want to spend the money to fix it. After popping the hood, I saw that someone started on taking the head off. The valve cover, intake tubing, and other parts are off, and some are in the trunk. My problem is that I don't really know what the problem is, it could be a bad tranny with a bad headgasket or anythig else. Any opinions on maybe what to do, is about $500 a fair price?

I'd only say to go for it if you're really sharp at building stuff, or if you have a DSMer close by who could give you the help you'll need.

Count on that having been taken apart because it lost timing and bent valves at the least, and that you'll need another head.
