Problem with 93 tsi talon

The problem i having is that the car doesnt seem to want to pull to red line at 7000rpms. It seems like it gets to about 6200 and then from that to redline its a dog. I dont know ifs because i have a 2g head, cams and intake or if my tune is screwed up and im running to rich up high.

Mods are 16g at 20psi, front mount, 650inj, 190 pump, gm maf, 3in exhaust

Sounds like it could be an issue with your tune, you could be either really rich like you mentioned, or be getting a bunch of knock and having the timing cut back. If you could post some sort of log it would help.

Ya my logger died so i can do that yet , Im thinking it might be my tune like you said, i was just hoping that the 2g heads and that wasnt what was holding me back.

Get your datalogger fixed and look for knock.
Anything else at this point would be guessing.

Ya, just need the money to get a new one. Just seeing if anyone else had a problem with there 2g head, intake and cams.

Why do you have a 2G head on your 1G? The 1G head is much better and better flowing than a 2G. I am assuming it is a 7 Bolt? This may be a shot in the dark but you might have issues with a 7 bolt head on a 6 bolt block?

also, with 660's you might need to upgrade to a 255 fuel pump and a rewire, and a adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Do you have a wideband? You might be running lean. What did you use to tune? Knock might be an issue as well, how many counts of knock are you seeing?
