2G Little rust in subframe is this okay?

Working on rear subframe restoration, is a small rust whole like this a big deal? Just a stock 1998 gsx .

yeah, I've read that it can cause rear trouble at high torques but I don't plan to do that for a while.

Too much what's underneath you can't see
First time dealing with rust this bad, but from experience seeing it everywhere else on the shell I believe it. I'll start chipping at it with an air hammer and drop it in an electrolysis tank to see if there's anything deeper.
 
That's a hole rusted all the way through the subframe and it's right near the suspension arm mounting point. Had to be rusting for quite a while to make that kind of hole. I can't see how any of the metal around it would be sound. I certainly wouldn't use that subframe.
