Hey gang.. hope things are well for everyone.. well my new year started out kinda sucky.. took out the DSM for a cruise and headed for the airport roads.. there’s a couple little high speed ess curves that I just love to hit.. well this time I pitched it into the ess’s with 20 lbs of boost and it kinda got out of control, slid through the corner and slammed into a curb,( thank the heavens above no body was there and the curb I hit just happened to be a good friend of mine’s aunts house), and whacked the rear subframe.. what’s the best way to get it out to replace..??

It's bolted to the shell on 4 studs, remove the 4 nuts holding your struts to the towers, remove the ebrake cable, the control arms, brake calipers, the 4 bolts holding the upper control arms then finally the 4 nuts bolting the subframe to the shell, the whole thing will now be free to drop.

I covered it all in a video for the AWD swap series.
