Rebuilt my 90 shifter assembly. Turned some brass and made bushings where the 6 plastic ones go. Out of the 6 only 1 was really bad. Also made some bushings where it mounts to the floor out of stainless. This made a huge difference. My shifter now feels super solid. As I was looking around in the engine bay afterwards having a brewski I noticed that I was missing a bolt to the trans mount. So I jacked the trans up and installed the bolt. Took it for a spin and wow what a difference. I cannot believe I missed/forgot to install the second trans mount bolt :banghead: all better now though. :hellyeah:
