Seems like with E85 people are pushing there turbos harder and harder. In my case I'm spiking to 35+ on the initial spool with my e316g. I have a "dodge garage" modded 1g bov. Anyone know if these valves are known to leak at 30+psi?
 
They usually leak around 25psi but the only true way to tell is to boost leak test it at that high of a psi and see if it is.
 
I have done many DG modded 1g CBVs and all but one tested and held 30psi. I never tested any higher than 30psi though, but is seems like that's about the limit.
 
Why not just use an air compressor and test at what point it leaks? >_<

The pressure tester is basically a big ass bomb just waiting to blow. Last time it blew off one of my pipes at 30 psi not only did It make me deaf for a bit, but it could have seriously hurt me. When my pipe blew it came down hard and dented my headlight cover as well as taking off a huge chunk of paint. I won't be making 40psi anytime soon so it's good enough for me. Also technically it shouldn't fail unless the diaphragm ruptures. The area in the diaphragm is larger than the sealing valve area. So as boost press goes up force is multiplied down on the diaphragm. There is no real leak point unless your using the bottom port or something major fails.
