lifter tick after cleaning lifters

After I cleaned my stock lifters there is still lifter tick after driving for about 2 miles.
Does it matter if the lifters were put in different places

It'll take a little while for the ticking to stop. Mine took much more than 2 miles. It shouldn't matter if they were put in different places.

to me it never mattered, try a thicker oil it works for me.

Or add a can of Restore to the oil - always works and even Defiant approved! Not a permanent fix (lasts 1-2 oil changes) but a lot cheaper than all new lifters.

I would have just replaced them with new revised lifters. But yes, it may take some time to get the ticking to go away.

Doesen't matter if you place the lifters in a different location, I recommend getting this set of 3g revised lifters,I have them on my rebuilt head, no ticks at all
