leather seats

I was thinking about having my seats redone, I went to a local shop and they told me the leather I wanted was 2.50 a square inch! Leather isn't cheap so I would wait around until a set comes up on craigslist or on the classifieds. It will be cheaper that way...

...it might be hard finding 1g leather seats in good condition and even then your looking at 15-20yr old sun faded leather at best, if theres no tears. you can find the nice recaro EVO 9 seats for cheap locally and fab up your 1g seat brackets to fit your car. :thumb: it would be cheaper than re-upholstering your 1g's with leather and you'd be one of the few, if not the only 1g running evo seats.
