Hey, guys. After testing for boost leaks the ole 1G bov is leaking pretty good, seems like anything over 3-5 psi it's blowing bubbles when I spray it...

This unit does NOT look or appear to be rebuildable, but I'd figure it was best to ask the experts.

If it is junk, any ideas or recommendations for replacement?

Thanks,

Rob

Not rebuildable Rob. You might try opening the flapper by pushing it in with your fingers and see if you can clean the seat and the valve with some brake parts cleaner. IDT you can get into it far enough to "lap" the valve or I would try that. If you can hold it open far enough to feel the seat or the valve, feel for any imperfections that would make it leak.
Option 2, buy a used one that is known to be good. I keep a spare for each of my cars, so I have 3 in a box somewhere, just waiting. I also don't think "crushing" it would help, but if you are going to throw it away anyway, you could try it and see if the additional spring pressure helps it seal.
