98 gsx left me stranded on the highway the other night. Was my daily. Thought I just threw out the clutch.. well, not the case. Haha.. ha....
Trans, flywheel, clutch, diffs, drivetrain, and transfer case. Looking for all these parts.
I threw out the clutch, and while pulling the trans noticed how nasty it's was, thought I was losing reverse and 1st gear anyways, so time to go. saw the flywheel had mangled teeth as well, and the drivetrain, transfer case, and diffs are all 20 years old and need replaced. Also don't think this cars ever seen a garage. Just looking at the underside of this car made me think "yup.. this things not moving within the next year" At least, if I'm putting a brand new trans, flywheel, and stage 2 clutch in, then the entire drivetrain is being replaced as well, I'm not a fan of "drive it till the wheels fall off" because with a dsm, everything except the wheels will fall off of it. Lol. Ive never worked on these cars, but I'm Looking to go the stage 2 route since the car can't move. If I can throw Evo parts on this car, that'll be the go to, if not. Stock oem parts will do just fine, Im just not too sure where to find these parts. I have the money for parts, as well as for upgrades. My goal with this car in life, is to see it push 400awhp. in the meantime, stock will do just fine, I just hate how I've spent so much time and money on this car and its still stock. aside from intake, exhaust, coilovers, boost controller, afr and boost gauge, and aftermarket bov.

The engine has less than 3k on the rebuild. It runs extremely well. My question, basically, what are some good aftermarket parts to throw on this car to get it ready forr bigger modifications. After all of these parts are in, I plan on going the 16g route, but keeping it low boost till I can put in a front mount, fuel pump, injectors, and a better bov. Maybe aftermarket headers but that'll be wayy down the road.
