Lancer front license mount

Anyone tried a Lancer front license plate mount on a 1g? Wondering if it would fit nice/look good. Hoping someone can provide a pic

I have both a 1g and a 2009 Lancer GTS with a sidemount plate (to avoid the middle plate mounting bucktooth bunny look).
The 1g bumper is rounded whereas the Lancer (evo and non) is much more flat. You would have to take a whole lot off the backside of the mount to make it fit flush to the curvature, but it's not like it couldn't be done..
I sidemounted my plate on my 1g bumper and ended up just bending it to the curve of the bumper so that it would not block the fog lamp in any way.
meh. it works.
