Just take it off. That or make yourself the bracket you want. :thumb:

I dont have to have a front license plate... i was thinking about buying the plate that says 4G63 and has like japanese letters and put it on and relocate it... but i guess ill go without it...

Just put it in the windshield. If a cop pulls you over, just tell him/her that it fell off earlier that day and so you stuck it in the windshield until you got home. There's something in the law in NJ that if it fell off less than 24 hours ago, they can't ticket you. I have not verified this, but I've heard stories.

Hes not worried about getting pulled over, he just wants a show front plate. I'd sugest just fabbing up some brackets, like so L brackets or something shouldn't be too hard even for someone with no fabircation skills.

Yea im not worried about pulling over damn it my state does not require a front plate... yet atleast... i wana put a show plate like NORS said i wana put a 4G63 plate on it... i guess ill just have to fab up some brackets =]

I have seen, not mounted at all, sitting on the dashboard inside the car, and yea.. that is about it. I believe I have seen them mounted off to the side, but it still blocks the FMIC a bit.

Mine is sitting on my dashboard and it cost me $ 83 dollars 2 months ago

ha, mine is sitting in my trunk... If the cops pull me over i'll tell them i was just working onthe car and had it off and now cant find the correct bolts. Its only a $10 fix it ticket here so no problem if i do get a ticket for it.

I mounted it behind the bumper. I didnt have to drill any hole. All you need is a tie wrap and double sided tape. No vibrating noise at all.

CA front license plate ticket is about $15.00 fix it ticket but the CHP charges $10.00 to sign off the ticket, i havent had a plate in about a year and never got asked about it. But latley they have broke down on modified cars, so i want to put mine back on. I like the way it looks mounted on the drivers side like the EVO

Yeah when I get a new front bumper I'm most likely gonna mount on the driver's side.

I thought I posted this here, but I guess not, this is what I did for mine:

First off, I did not want to drill into my bumper. So, when I installed my front mount, I fabbed something up.

I took a long piece of 1" sheetmetal and bent it up.

Since I had to cut my bumper support for the FMIC install anyway, I just drilled two holes in the bumper support on the driver side and drilled two hole in the 1" sheetmetal. The holes being 3" away from each other. After that I bolted the sheetmetal to the bumper support. I then bent the sheetmetal around the bumper cover and tried to keep it as close to the bumper cover as possibly. Here is what I got:

Here you can see the sheetmetal bent around the bumper cover and also you can kind of see how the sheetmetal is bolted into the bumper support.

Here you can see how it "tucks" around the bumper cover:

And it doesn't block the FMIC! (obviously)

well i was thinking of remounting my license plate on the either pass side of bumper (JDM style), in window or any other ideas????

I dont think you can have it in the window...Ive been pulled over and ticketed for that.

you can get the evo license plate kit and use that or just bolt it up. I have mine on the my passanger floor....:D cops dont say anything about it and you can tell its missing on the front, best yet my cars freakn red.
