Knocking 420a :/

its very loud knocking i am thinking its a spun rod bearing but i am not sure yet ? what do you guys think? ill post a video later on ,its very loud. ill be removing the oil pan this weekend
any opinions on what else it might be? should i rebuild or drop in a new engine?

You could just save yourself some time and drain the oil, if metal shavings come out than you know you through a bearing.

another good thing to know is sometimes a pulley can replicate a bearing noise so u could try to pull the outer belts (not the timing belt) and see if it has any noise if so most likely a rod

get out the mechanics stethoscope before pulling anything apart. Try to figure out exactly whats going on.

Im sure its cheaper to buy a entire engine then to rebuild the 420a.

Seriously? That's not helpful at all. There are things the op can do to fix it if it is indeed an internal failure. Buying either a brand new engine, or finding one in a good remanufactured state cann get pretty pricey, even if it is a 420a. Whole engines are not cheap. Rebuilding can save money and can also teach people about the inner workings of their vehicle in the process.
