Well, I've recently had it tuned and its been fantastic. I drove it around today to run some errands and no knock. I drove home, installed some new speakers and an amp and then headed off to school. While driving to school, it just started knocking under normal driving/cruising :notgood: Anyway, I've included a log and I forget to log AFR (don't remember if I even have it hooked up to log) because I had to hookup link while driving.

Your TPS needs to be adjusted so it reads zero at idle and check the linkage to make sure the cable isnt holding the throttle open slightly. also bump your 0 and 50 hz sliders up a few percent till your air flow per rev hovers at .25 . then subtract some dead time from the injectors till your combined fuel trim is close to zero percent. it looks like phantom knock that you have.

Thanks, I will do that before I drive home from school tonight, I hope it's phantom knock.

Why are you adding fuel with the sliders and also takinging away fuel through direct access? Pick one of the other.

Yeah for real. Just use the direct access table it's much, much more precise.

And yes, my guess is that your knock sensor is knocking on deaths door. Wow that was lame :D.

You TPS needs to read 0.64v at 0% throttle. You are currently reading 0.75v. Your combined FT should be as close to 0 (-+3%), I'm reading around -7%+ on the idle section. Coasting FC offset should be around 250rpm since you have a target idle of 1000rpm.

Sliders or DA table ONLY do not mix.

Set knock sensor control to activate at 3500rpm and between 25%-50% throttle position. Set your knock CEL to come on at 2* so you have a quicker warning. I also like to set the boost gauge to read voltage. Let me know about failing alternators.

If you are on the stock motor and not swapped, you should enable the DTCs. Mainly cylinder misfire, fuel trim, closed loop, and idle control.

Wow, thanks for the clarification guys, I had it tuned by a very reputable shop and I myself have never tuned the car. I'm surprised that they didn't correct my TPS and my combined FT. Before I took it to the shop I had my DTC's enabled. How do I test if the knock sensor is going or should I just replace it?

I have a 7-bolt with wiseco pistons and manley rods, with fp2 cams.
