I am looking to buy a new exhaust manifold. My stock one started to crack and time to upgrade to something a little better. Looking at Kinetic and Bullseye they are similar in design. I need an opinion or someone who have experience with these manifolds to give me the first look. Both of these manifolds i like about them is that they came with external wastgate ready tap into them. It allows you to run external gate in stock appearing manifolds with larger runners on the inside. I like this better then force performance manifold because of this...

I call both the Kinetic and Bullseye and got a little more details about their casting material. FYI, Bullseye still make their cast exhaust manifold but you can only get them through Bullseye.

Kinetic is made out of High Silicon Moly. These type of material-from research- is use from egr housing to exhaust manifolds. This is pretty common for exhaust manifolds casting because of its low cost.

Bullseye from other hands use stainless material in their exhaust manifold castings.
What grades of stainless steel they use i don't know.

What is the better casting from both of these manifolds? From talking to both companies, they seem to make these manifold for slowboy in the earlier years. They both claimed to have improved their designs...

Sorry to go off topic man.. honestly for the money and which seems to be a much better product have you looked at the FP manifold at all???

Yes i have. It dose not have external waste gate provision. I am think for the long run with my investment. if i decided to go external with bigger turbo i can still use the same exhaust manifold.

Fp are excellent manifold but they don't come with external options available.

Given the fact that I've yet to see a Bullseye turbine housing crack in all the years I've been rebuilding turbos, yet I've seen the early Kinetic manifold break completely in half....my money would be on Bullseye unit.

You could always run the 'gate off the O2 housing later on.

true, but having to find the turbos with waste gate in the exhaust housing is hard. your options get very limited. far as i know fp turbos are one of the fews.

I remember some folks complaining that the holes in the Bullseye housing didn't line up exactly with the holes in the turbo...but you can always drill them a little bigger or hog them out with a die grinder if needed.

I'd much rather have to do a little creative improvisation than have the manifold crack or break on me a year or two down the road.

I am assuming you had the kinetic one?

Yeah, i wasn't too sure which ones do crack like that. I've heard this happen to the earlier slowboy's first batch and im guessing thats what it looked like.

Form the Bullseye casting capabilities, i am sure they have mastered their casting techniques. Im going with Bullseye for sure for that fact. I also like the fact that you can go external if you want to later on.
