It's required for "serious audio applications". The stock grounds aren't ment to carry an additional 50 to 100A.
Upgrading the alternator, it's power wire and the fusable link is also required for "serious audio applications".

I want to see this FWD fake turbo / awd tsi race. tape it so i can laugh please. just be sure to use nos because there werent any other n/t parts to upgrade

if you want to race for money or slips or something, id be more than happy to.

Bottom line, it does make a difference. If your such a critic, pay $10 measly dollars and do the mod yourself. I was a critic myself until I replaced my badly frayed wires with these and noticed easier starts, brighter dash lights, smoother accel., and other differences.

Bottom line, if your existing grounding systems is badly frayed, it's time to fix it. :)

Not exactly an apples to apples comparison here but you did do a nice job fixing the problem.

Where'd you find all the materials for $10? Cheapest I've found the wire and o-rings for so far is around $20. I'm a real penny-pincher if you can't tell. :p

ok wisearse, so far i have seen a few of your post and most people think your a shmuck. i let it go at a funny comment. playful having fun you know, but if you continue to be an arse and call me out, what exactly would you like to race, arsewhipe, my gs with turbo, my gsx, my rs with motor swap, my talon, or perhaps you would like to race my supercharged 383 chevy pu that actually pulled an 11.6 on street tires after we did a rearend swap, i normally wouldnt sink to this level but you sir get under my skin with your know it all attitude, so why dont you shut the phuck up and listen you might learn something bro, especially from a goshdarn ase certified tech, did your mom have any children that actually lived, how old are you??? i swear you act like a friggin 15 yr old who has a brother with a tsi??? dude you seriously need to take riddlin or find a girlfreind to calm your internal anger...grow the phuck up wis arse... if you really wanna start something you know where the p m is you shmuck .......

To everyone else, i have seriously tried to be a help, i offer all the knowledge i have to make this a better sport, i have never took a stab at anyone else nor have i posted rude things about what people like dislike or whatever.with that in mind some of you make me:barf: with the way you talk so much crap about other people, they are doing what they like and if they did it therselfs man i got much repect for that. even if it doesnt flick my bick...

i do this for a living, i know some tricks that alot here dont think of, i know alot of what works and what doesnt. grounding HELPS bottom line.
alot no, but i will take as many 6 - 8 hp gains that are that cheap as i can get.

to everyone that is trying to help these guys with your knowlege and having been there...much props, sometimes it makes you wonder if it is worth the bs to try to help.

and to you mr :talon: i wish you a good day.....ARSE...:thumb:

Ignoring pissy pants up there, the key is that in both situations the cars went from crappy wiring to normal quality.. how about this:

I was running bald tires last summer, and i switched to XXXX brand, that means XXXX brand is the best..

UH NO? get a clue, you are all close minded. take a look at the facts you present, they are all useless.

jo you couldnt have pick the worst person to call that...i am on a rampage today, your gonna catch the blunt end of it too...so why dont you go do something to your car and then you can argue about if it works or not mister i havnt done anything but i dont have to it is awd...hmm you two guys for the sake of argument are idiots... ::thumb:

i didnt say that anyone company was better, only that more grounds on the motor helps, not because i use it but because it does, no brand debate here, hell make it your self!!!!i dont think that just cuz i run je pistons they are the best, i chose them for what i have seen, if you dont like them run srp, or aries, i chose what i chose because of what i feel, that is why it is my car, i dont push brands, i do say that grounding will help... not use xx brand ground they are the best...get your facts straight if you wanna argue...you dumbshit:thumb:

*sighs* Now you're listing cars for no reason. No one cares about your chevy. My Dad has one sicker than that, but it means nothing. If you want to drive up here in that neon powered riced thing thats in your sig and race for slips, lets do it. if not, shut up.

I try to correct your silly remarks about ground wires improving power and you start asking if i want to race, like thatll prove anything. right after i smoke you, ill still be correct. You wanting to just race to prove something is more ricer than those graphics and bumper on your car.

Just get me proof that these ground wires do anything. That's all i ask. Im getting sick of waiting for it.

Well maybe coincidence. I put in the big grounding wires and now my radio stays on. Damn thing would cut on and off. Maybe I got better ground. Also my wires weren't bad to begin with. I made six of the ground points. I do see brighter lights quicker start ups. So I would think it will be different for everyone, but all in all worth the time and money and under hood look, MY .02

The new " " is the safe and reliable generation tuning system that provides
a low resistance ground path. A better ground gives more Torque, better Mileage, better Response,
and better Starting Ability. This system provides direct ground path from battery negative to body, chassis, and engine components to give extreme improvement on electrical circulation.
In addition "Hyper Ground System" cables have 10 times less impedance than factory ground systems which
provides immaculate
conduction to prevent electrical power loss. The higher resistance of factory grounds, effect the ignition system and obstructs the primary potential.
The "Hyper Ground System" uses thick gauge 99.99% pure copper, and connects directly from the cylinder head and other points under the hood to the battery, to provide an ultra low resistance connection. This will increase the primary potential of regular cars to ignition tuned vehicles.

that neon powered rice thinggy...what ever, let me correct you with just about 3 minutes of looking for info its everywhere, i should not have to prove it does, someone ask if it worked, it does, all the info you need is in the links provided but if you need more almighty motor guru then i will continue on???if need be, corect me, corect yourself, you dont know crap. thats it......end of story.... look at the dyno sheet on the import tuner page, read what they say on another page, listen to people who use it and have dyno'd b 4 and after...then try it yourself

OMG... dude one is to another web page forum for evo's, i have better things to do on a sunday night than look up all the info, your a moron that is all....it works your wrong ...admit it grow up and move on...

just cuz there is a link doesnt mean that they are affiliated, and because you think import tunner isnt a worthy cause, again i dont care about them look at the dyno page..i already use a similar system one i havnt even mentioned, therefore i am impartial because my type hasnt even been mentioned, i am not trying to sell you anything, you research it i already know.
