people post how they remove the amber reflectors in their headlights and such blah blah blah... has anybody ever thought of getting a bit of their factory paint and painting the inside of their headlights?? if so pics?! been thinking of it myself personally

All you have to do is pull your head lights apart, either by heat gun or baking in an oven, then the amber reflectors come off easy. They're held in by 1 or 2 screws. Then reassemble. Remember to use new sealant if you can't get the original slant to work. I recommend new slant regardless.

To remove the amber lenses you have to split the headlights using heat around the seam and a good deal of patience. Some people prefer to cook them in an oven but I prefer a buddy and a heatgun.

I had a set of shrouds painted white to match but I ended up not using them because it looked too washed out IMO. I'm sure with darker colors it would look good but with light colors the black shrouds break up the color better.

Hm, ill have to try it.. see what happens.

if ANY of you can tell me if this is FACTORY paint and what color that would be FANTASTIC becuase the sticker is removed LOL. its allmost a dark purple/burgandy under no major light but in the sun it gets a pretty sweet looking red flake sheen to it

I don't know I like the amber part gives it some contrast:p:p

Have any pics of it on your car? With lights on & lights off:p

Barcelona Red Pearl Metallic huh? I sounds fancy. I don't think it'll be worth painting the insides of the headlight with.

Barcalona red pearl is away the dudes say the name of their paint color withought just saying it's purple..I like the purple,,I would call it purple all dayyy..

Its more of a merlot or bergundy, but then again that like saying my shirt isnt pink, its salmon ;)

haha i decided against the headlight mods, but i did order factory paint and im going to paint the red on the wheels to match the rest of the car, also thinking of tearing the fin off and a rear windshield wiper delete(just considering) i think it would look pretty good with that sleek reserved look.

Rather Dislike it on the 3000gt cars that come factory this way. Planning on baking mine on the 3000gt apart and doing them black or black with a cf pattern hydrodip.
