Grounding Point(s)

I was advised to route the ground wire of my Wideband to the point where all the ground wires are. Do our cars have such a point? he didn't drive an Eclipse, but said that it was critical to do this, so i'm just considering it. thanks

also, i'm looking up where the fuel pump relay is, so if someone can direct me to where i can locate that and tap into it's powersource that would be great. - JOse

You sould be able to ground the wideband anywhere on the chasis, seeing as that is where everything grounds to anyways.

Not sure on the fuel pump relay. I will look into it though.

Any body bolt should work. Grounding it to a particular bolt, or place, on the car is not needed because all the metal is the same (current wise) as long as it is connected to the body of the car. You can use anything that is bolted to the body such as the bolts that hold the seat brackets down, the bolt that holds your headlights on, or whatever. Not that you would want to ground your car there because the wires would be visible and it is not appealing to have wires hanging all over the place, but still the point is you can and it wont affect anything.

I found it, it is on the passenger side of the center console.

Yup, it is near the ebrake handle, just towards the dash of the e-brakes connection points on the body of the car.

You dont have to go to that point though if you dont want. If you find somewhere more accessible to you that you would rather have it bolted to than use that because it would suck to have to pull out that center console every time you want to ground something new.
