well, i am a little sick of my current builds, cause they are getting old. so i just bought a 1971 plymouth duster 340-4-speed car. it is a full roller. has a 4:10 posi chunk out back, fully gutted car. has no engine or trands. so i figured that this may be my shot to do another different build. yes, i know that people have been putting 4g63's in alot of cars, but for the mopar crowd, that is a big no,no. i have had a alot of mopars, but i love the 4g63. i cannot afford to buy a original 340 engine and a 4-speed to replace what used to be in the car, so i figured that i may gut my 2g tsi for the nessacary stuff.
i am just trying to find someone that can point me in the direction of a bellhousing that i can use, and to what transmission will work best for my application thanks guys/gals

Why do that to a duster just get a 360 mag out of a mid 90s pickup. The heads flow better then LT1 heads and throw a carb and cam at it and be good with it. I hate when people put other crap in mopars. Do whatever you want with Fords and Chevys but leave mopars alone.

it probably isnt as hard to find a 340 if you look hard enough, theres a junk yard full of em' about 45 mins away from me. the 340 was a pretty popular motor option for that car.
but i'd be interested to see the finished product.

ahhhhh to ell with mopar hahahha more parts....thats why are cars are always needing more parts. i say do it and dont think twice and i would go with a t-5 maybe even one out of a earlt 300zx single turbo or the turbo mustang foxs or super coupes.

Ya, a 71 340 4 spd duster is actually desireable. Go find a later /6 car if you want to hack something up... my 2 cents
