now PS it without the wing, with a stock front bumper and make it black and see what it looks like.

that or you could leave it as it and put some orange and yellow flames on it

what are you trying to prove by flaming this kid? i know he asked opinions, but P!$$ off if your just going to bash the car, maybe you like to play under the hood because your inteligents only allows you to bolt on parts, anyway, each man to his own

Ghey..........you don't need a bodykit on a 1G.

Thats personal opinion. I think a body kit wouldn't look to bad on a 1g. On a 2g?

Now, 2g's don't need body kits at all. My preference would be to have one on a 1g, but that's my opinion.

I do have mixed feelings about it though. On one hand I would love to to set it apart from other 1g's, on the other, it might look like ass.

I might just go with a nice electric blue paint job instead, only because that has to be one of the nicest colors out there..

As opposed to putting on a tacky, 3rd world labor built DRAGON Z or whatever front end, bolting on an APC wing, and picking out a colour for someone to paint takes a Ph. D degree?

hey thats no dragon z kit, that thing is disgusting (each to thier own but that thing is gross) it's from fx design's and i think it looks alot better than most the 1g fronts out there. and yea the 2g's are pretty sharp stock at least the 97+ ones are. if you like the 1g's stock then leave your 1g stock, i myself am not a fan of the stock 1g look. i don't need all the f&f jokes that not an opinion thats just flaming me. the only reason you say it's a f&f rip off or whatver is because it's green, so that means nobody should paint they're car orange or yellow or any other color that was in the movie?? thats just dumb. half the reason i picked the color is because i usede to like cuda's and the coolest one i ever saw was that color so.... o well thanks for your opinions the one's who gave them. the front is made by fxdesigns.com well later all

I think its unique. To each his own right? Rice is a silly word and to say something is rice is to be pretty narrow minded.

hmm.. i personally don't like body kits and flashy colors in general.. and what a hypocrite of me to say that since my car (look in sig) obviiously goes with one of the things i just said.. but i got the car with the kit.. and i WANT TO GET RID OF IT FOR STOCK.. i don't have anything against tastefully done kitted cars.. i don't find mine all that bad.. but i still rather have a stock 97-99 look.. (down to smaller less bling bling rims)..

with that said.. im gonna be biased.. i liked how ur car looked when it was stock and stock color.. it's hard to really make a 1g look good other than stock.. maybe except a new (not flashy) paint job.. and some wheels maybe.. and a few minor things.. the design of the 1gs are boxy and has that "old" car look.. so putting a kit on it and a huge spoiler with a bright paint job.. will make the car stick out.. and for most people be kinda awkward.. i think thats the reasn behind a lot of the negativeity on the replies.. if i had a 1g.. all i would do is keep the body stock.. stock spoiler.. maybe a new paint job of the same color to make it look clean.. some nice wheels.. and spend all the money on making it fast.. esp since its a damn 1g GSX.. thats all 1g turbos.. should be meant for.. MODDING FOR POWER AND GOING FAST.. u want to look good as well.. u get a 2G :p

it's weird how we are here on the tuners.. we give more props to cars that have simpler looking cars than those that are extreme.. again all this stuff we're saying is our opinions.. u asked.. and we gave it.. like others have said before.. do watever u want to do to YOUR car that will make u happy.. not whatever makes OTHERS happy..

As long as your happy with your car, that's all that matters. Opinions are just that........I guess some of these guy's forgot that they were in the Mods forum and that, well gee.....would be seeing Mods......stuff that IS NOT STOCK!. ;)

yea i don't mind it if people don't like my car, thats why it's mine not thiers. i was just showing people my car done thats all, maybe i should i have left it stock but i don't think so, i could have made it faster and bought a 16g and all the supporting mds but how many people on here have done that??alot. the car stands out now, performance is next on my list but i think i'll be going with the handling instead of the drag strip aproach it'll be a little different than what some people do but hey it's my car. i don't mind the negative comments at all i just wanted to know what people thought good or bad. o well later all

Ryan.. hats off to you for being able to put up wit us here.. heh.. anyways.. on a different note.. u should get a mean setup underhood.. because i know with your car.. u must get a lot of attention.. so it would be nice having a killer setup so you can smoke everybody that tries to test you.. ;)

is it like a gang initiation or something to drive on the street in that car? paint it white get some rims and lose the wings...... but if you like it than roll in that shit with pride, #### what everybody else thinks. mad props for puttin the cash and effort into it. :thumb:

yea it'd be nice to get a nice setup under the hood, i've been thinking maybe 16g but thats the biggest i would go i'm not into a 10 second drag car, i just want somethin quick enough. nicejob with the 1.8 w/ 126 hp thats pretty impressive for those 1.8s definatly something different! o well, and honestly i don't have much cash into the car w/ the cost of car i have around 1400-1500 into it, sure i coulda used the money to buy a 16g and whatever, but i wanted somethign that I thought was nice looking first. i'm not impressed by the rusted out chevys w/ 454's in them around here. o well thanks for your opinions,
Ryan

hahaha sometimes life should have an UNDO button like ms word or something...

Personally the color you picked for your car should only be used on highliters and retro 80s parties...something litte more subtle would have more class (the green from lambo murciealgo for example). Also some crop duster will come looking for his wing...so you might wanna lose that.

And if you want a body kit, pick up somethign that doesnt clash with the car, that bumper you have on is all curvey and filled with organic shapes, where as your car is mostly geometric. Mitsu spends an assload of money on their artists to create nice cars and i think they have just a tad bit more skill than cleatus-n-bob fiberglass and tv repair shop

LOL, So true. That's the main problem I see with people who get kits...they don't take the time to consider what flows and matches the overall build and design of the car....they just want to slap something on there that makes them "different". The best body mods are the ones that the average person can't even tell are aftermarket.

Are you talking about exterior appearance? Modification means change, conversion, revision, mutation...ect. If you can’t tell it’s changed, had is really been modified? What’s the point?
