Just got my datalogger, what to do

You know im not too sure yet. the car came with a palmIIIc and a disk plus the datalink to the car. before I could use it some jerk stole the thing out of my car. I bought the car with a slipped tb. Tore the motor down and rebuilt it from the bottom up. Runs great. Buit while it was down somebody stole just the pda itself. They left the pen holster and link cable. Just some little punk who stole it and probably smashed it on the ground. I havent downloaded the disk to my computer or pda yet but it has palminstien and other stuff on it. I guess I should download the conntent first then ask but It does dtc scanning and datlogging. I ordered a palm IIIC to work with my software because that is what was in the car when I bought it. I just needed another pda so I didnt just buy a whole kit I purchased what I needed.

Anyway, if you go with the Palm'n'stien, I'm not going to be much help as I run Pocketlogger. If you do a quick search of this site you'll find guys running it and others and you'll have to fish around and see what's what.

As for your problems with the engine, I feel your pain. I'm in the middle of a complete rebuild due to busted TB, so I know what your feeling.

Its rebuilt. I drive the car everyday and love it. A friend of mine was a dsm nut. He paid a shop to do his tb because he didnt want to. Thats fine. He should have had my shop do it but he brought it to a supposed eclipse tech(we found out later that that techs eclipse has been blown up for about 6 years now with no signs that he will fix it) well 21 miles after he erplaced it it slipped 5 teeths!!! The shop did not honor the warranty because they are idiots. So I bought the car from him for cheap. And I have a completely torn down laserawd for parts. It was a runer but was hit. So I tore the motor down. Clean everything. honed and rebuilt. Runs great! SO far I have gutted my cat. turn the boost up to 14 psi. hard ic piping, Big filter element, maf hack, boost gauge, header(my manifold ad three big cracks in it when I got the car and a buddy had a brand new header I scored for cheap and threw it on. All in all Im pretty happy with the car. I need to replace a quarter panel due to a drunk driver hitting me. Not hard it was 5mph. I am going after the suspension wheels and body next before I start to do more mods but I do plan on running a 3inch and a front mount. I have a ported 14b to toss in there soon just to have a fresh turbo in the car. Oh i did the 3000gt front brake swao already as well. A buddy went with 13 inch on his and sold me his barely worn roptors which I turned, a brand new set of pads and low mile reman calipers for 75 bucks.

Where can I get better tuning software for my palmIIIc?

Way to much going on in that thread, mmcd software is what i have thats what i use for my palm iiic, a better one. There arent a bunch of options, i know of the one above mentioned and mmcd software.
