any ways, we tried using this on my boyfriends brothers 1992 3000GT VR-4 and the logger worked perfectly. this is using mmCD software. anyways we plug it into my car which is a 1990 awd dsm. and the logger pics up the rpms and other peramters but it works really slow, if the car is at idle, the rpms come up at 875 or something like that then it blinks and it jumps to 7000. and other things such a knock blink on the data logger and read out absurd numbers like 280 counts of knock. the palm came with plamn stien and mmcd. we tried installing a different version of MMCD and it did the same thing, and palm and stien did the same exact thing as well, i just dont know what could be wrong, if anybody could help me i would be really happy cause then my BF can tune my car and i can run more BOOST!!!!!!!!

thanks for the help guys

any body? is there some kind of an issue 1990s have with datalogging? because i tried on my friends 1990 DSM as well and it did the same thing.

Not sure about that logging program but I have the Pocketlogger cable and in preferences there is a 3kGT mode. Check to see if your logger is in it. Maybe someone with MMCD could tell you if they have that feature. Hope this helps.

do you have v1.8g? if so under preferrences, type of car you can chose from dsm or 3si. make sure you have that set up right. other than that I dont know. maybe someonelse can answer that. just try that to see if it works. there is also a peak option on my mmcd, make sure that feature is not on, this feature should be right next to grap mode on monitor mode.

*From forum rules and regulations* Use the Spell Check feature and proper grammar. Don't be lazy, type out the whole word and use capitalization. No web-speak! Now see if there is anything on your palm that lets you change the preferences. Then check to see if your palm is in 3000gt mode or DSM mode. Im willing to bet that it might be in 3kGT mode after it working on 2 of them and not working for your car.
