i changed the tranny fluid and engine oil and gasket, valve cover gasket and msd wires so far now. the bov is hks stylebut its placed in a weird position, the piping is cheap i guess? what you guys think? The body is ok condition, just that it got hit in the front on the drivers side but he fixed everything. I have no power steering, it sucks driving in the city.

Hey in response to those wires. The small wire with the blue ring on it. That should be for your horn, does your horn work. And the wire with the big square connector is where your cooling fan plugs in.

I been working hard on this car, but problems seem to be found everywhere. I changed the radiator, fuel rail, valve cover gasket, spark wires, apex complete exhaust, process of timing belt and water pump, motor mounts.

its so nasty on the bottom, please let me know if you see any problems. I just dont know if its normal. i want to change to a fmic because this smic is so ugly, plus my fuses is sitting out of place. i took off the fender and see that body is so messed up, im thinking to hammer it out or something.

any suggestions will be very helpful. thanks a lot!!

Glad to see someone doing the needed maintenance to the car. As far as the speedo not working, maybe the sensor on the transmission is bad. The sonsor is located on the back of the transmission by the back transmission mount. But, from what the pictures show, for a grand that's not too bad. Not bad at all.
It does look like a hole in the bell housing so I would pull the trans and check the condition of the flywheel and clutch. Another thing I would check is the end play on the crank. Depending on what your horsepower goals are for the car, I would pull off that 2600 and go with maybe a 2100 so it doesn't put so much stress on the bearings.
Also, when sitting at stop lights and at a stand still, don't sit there with the car in gear and the clutch pushed in. Put the car in neutral and let off the clutch until you need to move. Then put it in gear and go. Less stress on the bearings.
