Ok, this is in the newb forums b/c I am a serious newb to turbo cars and the whole eagle/eclipse dsm world. Im usually into mustangs and have done many of fox bodies and 1/4 runs so im familar with all that. Im not new to 4cyl tuning also. I had a specV for awhile and modded and raced that, so Im well learned in most everything except TURBOs.
I just need to ask a few questions involving my recent purchase.
First, my cars boost level. My new gauge I installed says Im running 15psi flat at full throttle. Every now and then, it will rise up to 16 or 17, and when I first press the gas it will go up to 20 for like a a milisecond, but then will return and peg to 15. Is this normal to go up like that when the gas is first pressed?
Is it safe to run 15psi? Car is 1995 talon tsi fwd automatic

. But tomorrow im putting a hose back on it if I can find one for it so it vents back into the intake. Thats all I know homey!?
