I just picked up a rebuilt 6bolt from another member (initial dsm) and had a few questions. First, in this pic it looks like all of the pistons are the same height, could this be that he doesnt have the rods attached or that the crank is in between revolutions?

Now for my actual questions. I will be using my 7 bolt head as i just rebuilt it like 3k miles ago, i know i need to get the head holes machined to fit 6 bolt studs but is there any thing else? From my understanding, this should just bolt on after that. Do i still need the 1g cas? I just want to make sure i have everything i need for the swap. So far i have:
-6 bolt block, with 1g rods, 2g pistons, new bearings and a polished crank
-cometic head gasket
-6 bolt head studs
-6 bolt water and oil pump
I still need an oil pan and oil filter housing. I was also told that i cant use my timing belt tensioner from my 7 bolt. I hope this isnt true as i just dropped 80 bucks on it. i dont understand why that wouldnt work, arnt they the same?
Another question i have is, can i use all the bolts off my 7 bolt, (for the tensioner, the pulleys, ect...) or do i need new ones?
Oh yeah, on a side note, is there any way to test a wastegate actuator?
Finally, I am getting extrempsis' clutch package with the fidanze fly whell and act 2100 clutch. I need a 6 bolt fly wheel with a 7 bolt clutch correct?
Ok guys, thats it! Sorry for the random questions and i appreciate any info you guys can give me! I cant wait to get all this stuff in. My car has been broken for a month now! I only got to drive it for 2 days with my 14b before i spun a rod bearing
