A few g4cs questions i cant find definate awnsers too

Latley I've been wanting a new motor for my talon, somthing different and somthing I can beat on. I've read the g4cs is an option with some effore but I have a few questions of my own. I found a place that sells a g4cs rebuilt short block and got to thinking.... can I run that shortblock as is with the exception of putting the off the shelf wiseco piston to keep a good compression ratio? That would mean keeping the g4 rods, using a 1g head,1g oil pan, ect... my goals are roughly 400whp daily and I almost have that now but like the idea of the extra tq and 6 bolt is a bonus. I imagine there's more to it but would like to know for sure... any input helps, thanks!

For sure thats a interesting combo whats wrong with the engine yeu have what kind is it 6 bolt i would just build the 6 bolt how much is the short block and whats in it? Seems like a built 6 bolt engine would be the way to go unless your set on using the g4cs.

Nothings wrong with mine, its a healthy 7bolt but that combo peaked my interest due to the torque potential...I may just go forward with what I've got but I'm very interested in going that route

G4CS motor is awesome. I've been running one for a few years. They are the route to go for torque and quick spool.
To run one you need the g4cs block and crank. You can use 6 bolt rods, pistons, head, oil pan, etc The timing is a bit different though. You can actually buy a 2.4 intake gear from extremepsi otherwise there are a few good threads on how to properly time one with stock 4g63 gears on here.
