If you have a 7 bolt block from a 93 gsx and wanted to put a 6 bolt crank, oil pump cover and oil pan on. Would that work? The water pump is the same and all the bolt holes line up.... Also its not a 2g 7 bolt. This one has all the same freeze plug sizes, instead of two larger ones. Ive rebuilt both the 2g 7 bolts and the 6 bolts, but Im just interested if this would work.

Hardly anything to it. First, you'll need some acreage whose soil has a high-enough iron content. Mine that ore, build a refinery to process it into steel, and then build a processing plant that can do forging. You'll need to create the forging dies to manufacture the crankshaft, and then machine, harden and surface-treat the new product. It may help if you have a friend who can lend a hand along the way.

Why would you want to do this? Don't even think about saying b/c of CW.

I have a left over 7 bolt short block and was wondering if something like that could be done, but I dont know, I havent mined up any ore in a long time, So supplies are running low for the refinery.

I know the crank end of the rods are different on the 6 bolts, they have to be shaved to fit on the 7 bolt crank.I have no clue on the mains though.Take it to a shop and see what they say.I sold some big rods to a guy that had them put in a 1g 7 bolt, but like I said, they had to be slimmed down.

If you others didnt pick up on the sarcasm. It is not possible. 6 bolt and 7 bolt blocks are totally different. You cannot mismatch 6 or 7 bolt cranks / blocks.
