How hard is to tap a 7 bolt block for 6 bolt head studs? Can this be done safely by me? I have tapped many things before on my car, but I do not want to mess with the block if it's not something I can do safely. I am thinking of doing a 1G head swap, I don't want to tap the block if I don't have to. I am searching for a good 7 bolt head as we speak but if that doesn't pan out I may go the 6 bolt route.

I persoanlly not do it without the block being out of the car and at a machine shop on a mill. You make a mistake on 1 the block is junk. Better safe than sorry.
