ok so i figured out my problem with the fuel pump going crazy and it not wanting to connect before, the ecu i had was bad  so i ordered a new one and got it today and just hooked it up and all seems to be going well so far...

The next problem i'm having is that my computer is 64 bit software, and the cable that i got with my dsmlink is for a 32 bit... my friend told me that theres something that i can do to make the 64 bit compatable is that true? If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great

I have run windows 7 x64 with Ecmlink and the cable. USB is USB, the only difference is the speed (1,2,3). What platform your processor operates on makes no difference. Your friend is clueless.

I just wanted to make sure before i hooked it up just so i didnt cause any issues, but i tried it and got it connected with no issues this time so everything is good to go car will be tuned tomorrow and im going to test and tune friday to see what she can do! Thanks for the replys guys

A cable doesn't know what 32 or 64 bit is. Meet your friend and slap him. Now...software wise it could be a problem. Some 32 bit programs can't run on a 64 bit os. Some could though.
