toronto,
hey guys, jb weld is stuff stuff I know that, but can i use it on parts of my exhuast, I know the manifold will melt it, but can i use it on say the cat area, halfway down the exhuast pipe...
thanks

EGT temps near the mani / engine bay will melt JB weld.

believe me, i was in the same situation and i actually TRIED it. JB weld on hte o2 housing.. no go.

as far as down past the cat.. i think it should work , since temps wont go past 300 or so

I was wondering the same thing, except for use on where the exhaust tip is welded to the muffler. There is a slight leak in the weld bead that the idiots at the muffler shop ran, and I wanted to know if JB Weld or something similar would be fine to seal it?
