JB Weld Stick

I stopped at an Autozone today on my way home from school looking for some JB Weld to patch a crack on my transmission. I found it, and some JB Quick Weld, and this JB Weld Stick. It said the JB Weld Stick is pretty much the same as the others, but the two compounds are in putty form, one rolled around the other, and you break off a piece and kind of mold it together and apply it and mash it into cracks. I got the stick one and the regular one. My question for you guys/gals is... has anyone ever used this JB Weld Stick and how well does it hold?

The rolled JB Weld works just as well as the other brands. Ive always purchase the rolled kind just because its more malleable.

i used the stick on the oil return line on my honda! i tryed to use it on exhuast leak and it didnt work it would stick or something its good stuff thow!

I used the stick kind to make a bead for my intercooler piping. works great.

jb weld is only good up to 600 degrees...of course it wont' help an exhaust leak.

Is this J-B weld stick the same as the now advertised on tv ......Mighty Putty?

I had a crack on my engine block so took a die grinder with a cut off wheel to ruffin up the area then put the putty jb weld on and its help for about 2 months

The putty jb weld does work awesome

I patched up a water leak on one of my turbo hard water lines behind the exhaust manifold. Worked and stopped the leak; used both the putty and mixing one.

I had a hole the size of a nickel once on the end of my old FWD tranny. I smeared a little JB quick on her after cleaning the surface real well. Let it set for 24hrs and never had a problem out of it.
