The tracks have shut down until spring here ..Finally took the car out for my 1st run ever , tossed down a 14.7 on bald tires , spinning to 2nd 2.8 60's LOL ,..Also 1st time ever at the track i am hooked ... :sneaky:
I have been building for almost 3 years last year cost me 3 or 4 clutches since none would hold :ohdamn: .. This winter i am planing to build big before i blow or switch to awd ..

Mods plan would like some advice or info at some points pointed in the right direction
Mods over winter i am planing
HX35 with stock housing - so switching over to t3 manifold (have reading to do for the fitting t3 manifolds)
One issue i need someone to point me in the right direction is , the hx35 bep is the 5 bolt , i have seen some 5 bolt to 3" exhaust flanges ,..This will eliminate the 02 housing ,..Do i just get an 02 flange welded into that and still sim the 02 in dsmlink?
I need to install an aftermarket oil gauge ,before i can even get an idea of what kind of oil lines i need to use for the hx35...I do still have the balance shafts..

GAS AND INJECTORS?
plan is to go with race gas , i am in Canada and have to do some research to see what i have available close to me..
Injectors thinking of 1650's or bigger ?
fuel pump or pumps , dual 255 or something else?

TIRES
When it comes to this i see all the numbers and have no clue..I do know i want slicks in the front
i have seen for fwd 24.5 is better then 26" ..what size rims etc any help or pointing in the right direction would be helpfull..Also brands

Again i am fwd , non turbo trans , with act 2600 pp and act 6puck unsprung :sneaky: seeing how far it will go :thumb:

In the area of injectors/fuel pump, I'd say that 1650's are a bit excessive on race fuel. Now if you were running alcohol I could understand that big of injectors. I'd say 1000-1200cc would be plenty to handle an HX 35 with a stock rotating assembly(non stroker/hi compression). Also unless you're just planning a list of supporting mods for alcohol, a single 255 pump will be sufficient.

On a single re-wired walbro Im maxing my 1000s out on my stock t3 hx35 at 26 psi. I would go 1250s or slightly larger if I were you. Hell Ive been even looking at some high z 2150s just because the drivability is great with them. and it gives me a ton of room to spare since yes I do have goals but, what do we do when we meet them? Increase them!! I dont want to have to buy injectors for a 3rd time.

Yes i went with 550's , now have 750's ..I dont want to keep upgrading little by little , if i go with 1650's i will have plenty of room to upgrade i think the 2150's will be over kill for me atm ...
Any info on the other stuff i posted ? dual pumps or just a bigger pump , what about the slicks rims and tires??
