heres a back story: dsmlink hasn’t been logging the speed which locks me into launch limit which is only at 3800. Turns out there is no continuity between the ecu to the cluster. Keep in mind I have a manual so it’s driven by the Speedo cable. I’ve swapped out my cluster with two other ones I have and it didn’t make a difference. I checked the Speedo cable and it’s good. I was told to bypass the harness from the ecu to the plug that has vss. Only issue is not sure which one it is. I assumed that it’s the plug that is on the right side of the dash considering that it says pin 18 on the ecu is the vss. Which is a yellow/white wire. And the only yellow/white wire is on the plug that’s on the right. Anywho, we wired the new wire to the back of that plug and checked to see if there was continuity and there is. Put it into the ecu last night and went to drive my car this morning and it’s still not logging. I’ve been trying to find a pin out for my cluster and can’t find anything. And not sure what to do from here. Please let me know what you got! Below I attached the pin out diagram I got from ecmtuning and a picture of the dash that’s behind the cluster.

Yes you are correct its the center pin yellow/white wire on the right side connector. This is the vss output wire which is actually a old school reed switch and works by grounding the pin 4 times for every revolution of the cable. Problem with this it's a very weak signal that's not strong enough for a clear square wave for most aftermarket ECUs. I had issues with erratic readings on both my AEM EMS and LinkECU G4+. It was basically un-usable and only useful to tell if the car was in motion. What I did was modify the reed switch input terminal on the back of the cluster (labelled GND right below R. SW) severed the circuit board pathway leading up to it so the ground from the factory harness cant get to it, and ran a 12v wire. Now the reed switch sends a 12v signal to the ECU and it works perfectly. This may or may not work if you cant remove the pullup resistor from the ECU pin, with the G4+ its software controlled and it had to be off.
