I have a really high idle problem, and on the logger i noticed my ISC is never trying to move one way or another during idle it sits at 0%. Like its being told not to do its job.. The coils test good, but it doesnt move one way or the other at idle like it should. What could cause this?? My Idle Position Sensor is getting continuity when throttle is closed...maybe wire onto the boot is bad could that be a possibility? Suggestions? ever hear of this before?? thanks.

Well the green wire that attatches to the boot has the insulation warn away..maybe i'll resolder it..but the wire itself looks good so i doubt it will help...does the boot on the Idle Position Switch ever just need replaced?

Well that didnt help any  Ok, how about this? What conditions must be present in order for the ECU to activate the ISC motor? is the IPS the only factor? Or is this an unknown problem? thanks for any help...im going crazy LOL

D/C your ICS all together... make sure you have no air leaks.

how does it run.

if it run's fine... screw changing it.

pull the ICS motor out and just clean it. Have you tried a EGR block off plate?

(my ICS is bad) sucks i know

uhh sorry to sound like an idiot OMG but what does D/C mean? hehe

Yeah i have a blockoff...a piece of metal with RTV on it covering the EGR hole. Just in case it was that i did that a while ago.

Ok.
Disconnected the ISC, and idled her down, and kept it at 1500ish RPMs....because i had it at like 1000, but then it would stall sometimes...i was gonna leave it like this until i figure everything out. Is this ok to leave it disconnected for a while?? I would assume nothing is bothered by it.

My ISC coils are testing fine, but my ISC just flutters, similar to yours. Mitsu. thinks its a bad ECu signal to the ISC, but I doubt that. I don't know why its not working.
