i was gonna buy it for a 1g to 2g maf. Its not as "Pretty" as the injen one but i know a couple buddies who bought one and it works fine, but its up 2 you if you want to use a ebay brand or name brand thats basically what your paying for

Well if it works as good as any other type I could careless about brand name its like oreos vs market basket brand they taste the same ill spend 2 bucks less! haha (sorry bout that noob comparison LOL)

it really matters what you mean by "BAD" short ram intakes tend to take in less fresh air than cold air because of their location but as for horsepower differences there usually isnt much of a curve i got a knock off from ebay and love it i like it better than if i had an aem or injen i kno some would differ but thats my opinion

Yea what exactly would qualify that intake to be "Short ram intake"?? ... looks just like the injen setup like previously said

I have the same intake, works fine I like it. As you would expect the couplers are junk and the clamps are not to good but the intake itself works great, just a little long with the MAF attached and a tight squeeze.

Interesting responses, must be the new-school guys..

Fact is, these are just like the injen, they work well and you don't get raped by the $250+ that Injen charges.

And also to the person who said "NOT AS PRETTY" as the Injen one? I hate how injen tacts on their brand all over it in bright colors. Ebay ones you can get in polished, not polished, or black, with different color couplers. Must better IMO.

Beat me to it!:D

i would try and find a smaller intake filter. The ones most ppl get(even me) from autozone are a bit long. Like fran said its a very tight fit and i mean EXTREMELY tight fit i was right there at the end of the engine bay!

I have the Injen intake on mine and it's a super super tight fit with the smic piping like you all said. IMHO piping is piping to me. Save yourself $200+ and get an ebay intake and pick up a better filter. I bought an ebay intake for my tiburon and just slapped on an AEM dryflow and it worked just as well as an actual AEM intake. Just my two cents though.

Well thank you all for those opinions I think I'm going to get it and get a better filter so I don't have to pay like 250 but thanks again for all the input!
