short ram intake installed?? now running bad??

i have a 95 gs and i bought a short ram intake off ebay. i installed it on my car and it sounds really cool, but it seems like my exhaust sounds worse with the intake. i have a mozart racing exhaust. it sounds like its kinda slugish, like it cant breathe. can anyone help me?? i would appreciate the help.

Do not use the filter that comes with the ebay intakes. I had a crap filter on and was slower than stock. Go to Autozone, Oriely, Advance Auto, or Pep Boys and buy a K&N and you will be so much happier. Also your exhaust will sound much much more powerful. Later

A filter makes the exhaust sound more powerfull? Right.

I do however agree with the K&N comment.

So the car FEELS slugish after you put the intake on? Make sure the MAF is connected properly and has no leaks.
