it is not real i got my gf the same one awhile back. and it sucked made almost no sound save your money and get something better look in the classifieds and get something used if you dont want to spend alot

ebay bov's usually work pretty well. I assume your question was regarding whether it is a real hks unit, the answer is, most likely not. if you ever want to know if a deal is to good to be true look at the seller location, if it says singapore, china, beijing, pretty much anywhere apart from the us or the country the company is located in, chances are its a knock off. that being said, its probably a pretty decent bov. the ebay greddy knock offs work just fine and sound the same as the real greddy ones

Looks like the one i previously bought, only mine was silver.
Only way to tell is to open the diaphragm.
As long as it sounds good and holds boost then why complain.

I'm not sure if it's a real HKS, good chance it's not, but I know someone who is running the same one. He has been using it for about 6 months on his DD with zero problems and seems to function perfectly.

are you buying the adapter kit from HKS? or is it coming with one?

and if nothing else, measure the ID of your intake pipe, and then measure the OD of the adapter before you buy it.

It's that cheap because it's overstock, the HKS SSQV 3 is out now and much better.

that link is to a universal BOV, which it says at the bottom, does not come with a recirc kit or flange adapter. better find the vehicle specific one before you buy.

if it's already flanged for it, no worries. i thought you were more worried about the recirc part of it.

it sounds like the person you're buying that from has a recirc kit... i'd check that out. or just buy the BOV with it.
