Is this normal for the fan to turn on this much?

I noticed the fan in the engine bay turns on every 2min or less when the car is fully warmed up and being driven is this normal i was thinkin its too much? I see dsmers with a switch to turn on there fans do they do that so it saves power?

seems normal to me, but if your going down the highway and its turning on, you could be starting to have a problem

The fans turn on at 210*F. Usually it's done to turn the fans on earlier to keep the temps lower but you would want a colder thermostat to be more effectively keeping colder temps.

Don't sweat it. Only worry when your temp gauge goes above the average of where it sits or you see your check engine light come 236*F (IIRC)
