Resolved Is this too much for the 1st timing belt change?

So I live in Canada and I am gonna do my first timing belt job. I dont know when the timing belt was done on this engine. So this is the quote rtm gives me for all the parts :
Attached screenshot. Should I try other american sites and ship to my states and pick it up there ? My total qyote is 750 $ US 900 Cad. Do I go OEM or do I go Gates or GReddy or HKS?

I personally would go oem and find a reputable shop to do the job. Really dont wanna mess with the timing belt , one wrong move and shit gonna go south real quick , i dont know how much it cost up in CAD but here in NJ its around $500 parts and labor, its not much but it isnt little either but at least youll have that peace of mind knowing everything gets done right.

I just ordered the gates kit from rockauto. Wish me luck. If the motor pops, oh well! I too would recommend all oem. I am taking a chance. Gates makes good product for daily use. I dont daily drive mine. Maybe once a month.
From what i have learned in life, is nothing lasts for ever. I have seen quality parts fail too.
Get informed and dont rush.
I found extrempsi to be much cheaper than rtm. My next order of items will be thru extremepsi. Lets see how customs rapes me.
